I like the color and the graphic especially the wallpaper. They looked real cute to me! Its good but you should work some more in photoshop using the PNG not GIF for the cursor, bar etc, so you can use the alpha channel to create seamless edge, I can still see the white edge around some of the item.

It would even be really cool if the characters are animated!
overall, its good!
