Doesn't work for me. Still get the Error Msg. I never C&P always typing out.

Hello !

Every time i upload a ringtone, and want to write a description with some words more than just "Vote & Comment pls", i get the Error "Description must be at least 10 characters long".

Well writing about three or four longer sentences should do the requirements, but it doesn't.

There seems to be an exact range of characters to fill in the description, and the maximum has to be guessed.



Please give me further infos on this theme, to make it possible for me to write some more personal words for all users.

You can't make an upload public once it has been made private.


You don't "go" from public to private with your account.
The Upload-Plugin itself determines if the uploaded file is copyrighted material.
I think this is done by comparing it to sound-signatures of popular songs.

What i don't get about this, is that i am not even allowed to up a part of a song (f.e. a "trailer", as you get to listen in every online-music store) as a ringtone loop.
And at the same time I can dl lot's of popular song parts as ringtones here.

Just wanted to give sth. back to you ppl., but it seems as if it's not wished....

I am really angry about this shit

It isn't illegal to upload a sequence or a refrain of a song that is popular,
as it is often found in ringtones, but to me it is impossible to upload
a popular german song refrain due to this upload plugin,
telling me " This file is determined to be inappropriate for distribution and will be added as a private file.".

Noone's rights are hurt by uploading refrains of songs. Only whole songs are illegal.
This plugin should check also the length of the track....
