There's a software to do that actuallly but it's more towards to lock the folder from being view by others....if you really want to hide it, try to install a Fileman or any others explorer that let you change the folder properties(note: if it is applicable also) and you can change the folder properties just like in normal pc do and make the folder or files hidden....

I experienced the same problem with my N80 after having several themes i cannot remove previous few themes that i have installed, but I was able to delete the theme with the following procedures:

1. Connect your phone in your PC using the 'Mass Storage' connection.
Upon successful connection, you will notice that a 'Removeable' drive will be available in your PC which is the Hard drive of your phone.

2. By default you CANNOT see the "private" folder of you phones Hard drive. So from the address bar, just type in "private" from the drive letter where your phone HD was assigned (Ex: E:\private)
or go to tools>folder options>show hidden files and folders.

3. From step 2, you should be able to see the contents of the private folder. Use Search function to find your theme and delete it from the folder (or manually check each folder to find the name of the themes you want to remove) I was able to find it from ..\private\x******x\import\x************x (x**x only stands for some alphanumeric values assigned to the file).

4. After the delete from HD, I cannot see the themes from Theme folder on my N80.
