No don't worry you didn't offend me. I agree it wasn't as good. Im currently writting 'sleepy' which is a narrative story so it will be better. I've started the characters for it and some initial ideas, check them outon my blogger, i cant write the webite address down properly as it doent let me?! so it's leebear91dot blogspot dot c-o-m ahah

I don't think your art teacher is automatically good because she is a teacher, there usually the ones who couldnt make it as artist so they turned to teaching. I think you have passion for Art and the potiantial, but you need to be more solid with your ideas and don't be afriad to make a stand on your work. Here's some advice, only take Art on as a life style if;

1. your really really good at it
2. you can't live without it

and you must practice the basic's!!! i'e drawing, it is a simple tool to the generation of your ideas.

I hope that in 5 years time your be contacting me to ask to work with you as im sure your be great if you keep going!

Well my birthday is in July so when i was your agei had to wait ages, as my friends were all older. It will be worth it im sure. Yeah the one you showed me was nice, very eligant.

Ah that's the thing your going to find in painting, take it from someone who knows! Learning to paint from Art schools is a waste of time, sorry but it's true, your exactly right when you say you dont like just painting "whats in front of you" painting like that is a classical way of painting and died out years ago. Today if you want to become good and well known you need to do something different. My girlfriend did exactly what you are doing now, paint every day the same old boring stuff, don't get me wrong she's very good at it, but when she came to study were i was she felt stupid and non creative, as she was the only person that needed something in front of her to get started. Im not a painter, but even all more drawings come straight from my head, to be an artist weather in music or art, you need to have that imagenation and creativity. Do what yout think is right! Stand out from everyone else, as in Art there is no right nor wrong, so you can never be wrong!!

if you dont think the way you want then your supressing your ideas. There's only so much you can be taught when it comes to painting, to be honest, you can't be taught painting, you just watch your teacher. Plus who said still life had to look like anything? What do you really see when you look at an object? ... A vase?? To me a vase looks like a womes ovaries, and then from there i would do symbolic relations to why i think that. Make sense? xx

Im good thankyou, buisness has been bombing! Im in contacted now with some key artist, and i just recently had my own exhibition. At the moment im working on some t-shirt designs, if this company likes them they will be sold all over the world! (fingers crossed)
