Imam Sadiq (a.) said to Mufaddal [bin `umrar]: 'I recommend you six moral qualities so that you convey them to my followers.' 'What are they, my Master?' I [Mufaddal] said. Imam (a.) said: 'Deliverthe trust to whoever entrusted you with it and like for your brother [in faith] what you like for yourself. Know that things have some ends, then be cautious of their outcomes and thatin the process one faces some surprises, so be careful. Never mount up an easily-climbed mountain if it is hard to descend and do not promise your brother [in faith] something you cannot fulfill.'
