You gain strength, experience and confidence by every experience where you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you cannot do. You've got to take the initiative and play your game. In a decisive set, confidence is the difference.
Steven Spielberg is described as one of the most powerful and influential personalities in the history of film. As a director, he is the most successful of all time.
From an early age, Spielberg showed exceptional talents as an imaginative young boy with a great passion for the arts. As a child he earned the nickname Cecil B. Spielberg, when he began charging his friends and family to view his home movies. By the age of 12, Spielberg was already visualizing him receiving an Oscar and began rehearsing his acceptance speech.
Spielberg journeyed to that Oscar he envisioned, asking for help and mentoring from famous actors and top directors along the way. He knew that in order to be the best, he would have to learn from the best. Spielberg found success in his unique ability to bring life to the stories we all love on the big screen.
He has directed some of the world’s most loved and quoted movies, including E.T., The Color Purple, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan, among others.
Spielberg's talents and abilities teamed with a passion and commitment to his career has made him the most powerful filmmaker in the world.
"I don't dream at night, I dream all day, I dream for a living." - Steven Spielberg
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80’s, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
It was well healed so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had a doctor’s appointment this morning, as he was in such hurry. The gentleman told me no and that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late.
He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised and asked him, “And you still go every morning, even though she doesn’t know who you are?” He smiled as he patted my hand and said, “She doesn’t know me but I still know who she is.” I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm and thought, “That this is the kind of love I want in my life.”
True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be and will not be. The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything that comes along their way. Peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank.
MAY TRUE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ALWAYS RUN FREE ON THE WIND.
Heavy rain reminds us of challenges in life. Never ask for a lighter rain. Just pray for a better umbrella. That is attitude.
When flood comes, fish eat ants and when flood recedes, ants eat fish. Only time matters. Just hold on, God gives opportunity to everyone!
Life is not about finding the right person but creating the right relationship, it's not how we care in the beginning but how much we care till the very end.
Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them. A Wall or a Bridge? Remember you are the architect of your life.
Search for a beautiful heart but don't search for a beautiful face coz beautiful things are not always good but good things are always beautiful.
It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life. But it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold.
Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, "Relax dear it’s just a bend, not the end." Have faith and have a successful life.
One of the basic differences between God and humans is, God gives, gives and forgives. But the human gets, gets, gets and forgets. Be thankful in life.
