I have found it a lot easier to read and write Hiragana and Katakana, than it is to actually speak Japanese, sometimes I still have trouble writing the Katakana symbols for "tsu" and "shi", my "tsu" sometimes still comes out looking like "shi", but I learned the two Kana's fairly easy.

Yes, I did see episode 217, (an Arrancar in a tutu, what next?) they must be building up to the big showdown between the Shinigami and the Arrancar, it was a funny episode though. My friend Aika from Japan keeps telling me that Japanese Kanji symbols are not as infinate like Chinese Kanji, and it is easier to learn than the Chinese Kanji.
