There isn't any advantage only disadvantage
I have an Imate 2 months old & I think the 1st iimpression is that they have tried to make it a computer rather than a mobile

Quite confusing

it has eTrust antivirus which actually doesn't do anything , it says download signatures but has no options, it is not licenced also

there are many probs
u cant even explore it as a PC neither as a phone, a failure both the ways

I use storage cards to store my pics, songs etc & still my phone memory shows its Full & gives constant wanrnings & I don't know how to make empty

If u have an internet connection on it , u can't use that connection to surf on PC

It tries to seach a server everytime u connect it with a PC & if it is ur home PC (which is not a server) , it gives constant warnings !!


SO, a complete waste of time , but if u need a mobile with PDA functionalites , u have to buy such phones,
again dissappointing prices .... tooo high for its value
