previously i used avast and i changed to kaspersky..as you have stated it is little heavy for CPU..so i have again re installed avast...don't use avast use Norton or AVG that will be better u for speed and security
dude if u wanna see an AV programs efficiency u should take into consideration its cpu resource consumption
and secondly if its user friendly.. i have seen norton and avg both working on my friend cyber cafe and in the end taking all things into consideration avast held out longer then any of them even when we tested it by giving user the authority to download malicious programs.
2 AV is heavy, use 1 at a time only
before my pc @ home have 3 AV they are nod32 / avg / spywaredoctor but 2 are disabled
my nod32 doing fine i removed the 2 AV already
I SUGESST THAT U STICK 2 AVAST BECAUSE NORTON WILL SLOW U COMPUTER DOWN AND AVG DOES NOT FIND ALL THE VIRUSES

WOW i would have suggested that u downloaded a antivieus from ur friends computer and put it on a memory stick take the memory stick out put it in your computer install the antivirus.and then sacn it for viruses
