Hi my wife has a blackberry Curve as well. Unfortunately there is no way to Email a ringtone from zedge & the txt option is unavailable at this time.
What you can do is since blackberry is a smartphone you can use the built in browser to direct download ringtones to your curve.
* Grab your phone and go to " m.zedge.net/zcode "
* Enter this zCode from the zCode field
* Hit "Download to phone" and save the item
on your phone.
you can also drop the /zcode part of the address & browse ringtones right on your Blackberry.
hope this helps
I don't just use 1 wallpaper, with "Any Wallpaper" a free utility that lets your desktop change wallpapers.
I use it with vista home & have not had any problems. I set Any Wallpaper to rotate my desktop wallpaper every 5 minutes and have it set to use multiple picture folders to randomly select what my wallpaper will be.
Check it out for yourself at:
http://www.anyutils.com/index.phpIt turns out the delve can only use the factory loaded ringers......
the Glimmer is the same way.
We learned only the SMART-PHONES, can use personal ringers
So my wife got the Blackberry curve, at the same price as the delve.
She's happy
I just finished converting all my wife's mp3 ringtones to QCP. but the delve still won't recognize the ringtones.
I called Alltel support for help & was told that any of their newer phone (less than a year old). Will not recognize any 3rd party ringtone, Only ringtones from alltel's web site will be recognized.
I promptly informed the tech that the HTC 8600 which I just got 2 months ago works with 3rd partry mp3 ringtones. I got no answer......
So Alltel is trying to convince everyone that only their ringtones will work with any of their phones.
We (my wife & I) are going to our local alltel store in the hopes that we are just mis understanding. If not We will be returning the delve & getting something else or they will be reactivating my wife old phone.
Thanks, I had looked at that site several times, but I must be tired. I was looking right passed what I needed.
MY wife just got a Delve & I found that it use QCP format for it's ringtones.
Which are then stored in the My sounds folder on the MICRO-SD .
Of couse I'm still looking for a free MP-3 to QCP converter to change over all her favorite ringtones.
