Sim Card Compatibility

i've got a nokia 6280 tied into the 3 network here in the UK and i am wondering if i can take my sim card out and put into another phone (does it have to be a 3G phone, etc.).

what are limitations / restrictions on this.

need your help desperately.

i think (and hope) this is what you're after;

go to Menu, Settings, Display,
now select Standby mode settings,
now go to Instant viewer,
and set Instant view service to off.
