About drop copy, i have personally never used it but it should be safe. I am on 2.0 now so i cant even confirm if its safe.
I am a lil surprised that after removing an app the folder still remains
There should be no need for u to delete these folders as they constitute really small .......really really really small portion of ur 4/8/16 Gb of space, but u can safely remove them
if u are not sure about Drop Copy u can even try using file browser or using ur PC use PC suit or winscp (ssh) or use mac use Fugu (ssh)
