what pro is for??26.12.08, 23:39
Zedge Pro accounts are for original artists to promote their own work. It is not for the general Zedge user. If you created a Pro Account then that means you have original self created work you want to share on Zedge.
You are not allowed to have multiple Zedge account so I suggest you remove one of your accounts immediently.

Unable to install security certificate16.12.08, 18:15
Please Help!!
Regards
Rahul Bakshi
You need to application unlock your device in order to install the new cert. App Unlocker use this file at your own risk! Download, copy to your Moto Q then run the .cab file. It will write in the needed registry entries to unlock your device. then reboot.
You should be able to install your new certs ater you reboot, as well as run some third party application like google maps with the my location feature (it will now be enabled).
Like I said, use at your own risk, this file will change your registry! I have used it on both my Moto Q and my HTC Dash with no problems.

Problem with Motorola Symbol MC3514.12.08, 15:15
You need ActiveSync (XP) or Mobile Center (Vista) to access the storage card. Or use a card reader. The MC35 is a Windows Mobile 5 device so I would strongly consider upgrading the OS (usually free from your vendor) this usually corrects USB issues.

SPRINT I325 ace help13.12.08, 15:29
Does the file download onto your phone, or is the error prior to the download? If the error is prior to the download it could mean:
1. you do not have the proper data plan to download files
2. your phone is restricted to the size or type it is allowed to download (over the air)
3. you are downloading a file your device is not set up to "see" (but I doubt this is the case since you are downloading MP3 files)
if the error happens after the download is complete:
1. the phone is restricted from playing some file type. Some service providers require all MP3 files to be digitally signed due to copyrights. Any file not signed will be rejected
2. you are not saving the file in the correct location. Some phones are 'locked' to only allow files to work in specific folders. You can get whats called an application unlock (Google is your friend here) to help with that problem.

The Motorola Ve 240 cannot play ringtones from the Memory card, they must be stored on the phones memory. There is a Mod you can do but it requires a bit of knowledge about Motorola's phone OS and I do not advise people to fool around with their phones SEEMs (the SEEMs are your phones registry that allow the phone to work) as it can damage your phone.
So the easy thing to do is copy the file you want to use from your memory card to the phone and use it from there.

Old Issue, new problems11.12.08, 03:30
The best method is to use bitpim, add your mp3s to the phone, then go to the root folder and delete mtone.bb. You can then select any MP3 you add (memory permiting) as your ringtone.

What's the best phone for downloads?17.11.08, 02:04
Smart phones are usually the best (Windows Mobile) but it really depends on your service provider and the level of service you have added. Rogers is not that 'restrictive' when it comes to over the air downloads but they are not one of the more 'open' ones either. I would look into a Smart phone and an unlimited data plan.

I currently have a Moto Razr V3 but am up for getting a new phone - from Rogers (in Canada). I have never been able to get ringtones downloaded from here and now that I can get a new phone - just asking, what's the easiest type of phone to do that with? Anybody got any suggestions???
You can add new themes. SBSH and Ecko Papers has a few (google for them) Installing them is pretty easy.

HTC Touch Program Uninstall - help16.11.08, 04:00
Connect through activesync and run the add / remove from there (under tools) Also a soft reset (power off then on again) will remove the icons. Some programs are not fully removed until a restart
If the icons are still present. Connect to activesync then navigat to your devices /windows/start menu folder and you can delete the icons from there. However if the icons are still showing the applications picture then the application is not actually removed.

finding friends on here...13.10.08, 01:17
Use the Browse people tool ( click on People, then Browse People) you can then narrow the search to male or female, age, location. Right now we do not have a way to search our usernames.. but if you know their unsername you can simply type in your browser address bar http://www.zedge.net/profile/_____/ and put their username where the black spaces are to go to their profile directly.
