I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me.
Sometimes I enjoy talking, but when it's like people are trying to find something out about me, I don't. If we are just sitting having a conversation, being real human beings with one another it is just fantastic. I try to keep my life out of it, not giving it away. I don't volunteer a lot of information
I do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful. If not, it can't be helped.
The most I can do for my friend is simply to be his friend. I have no wealth to bestow on him/her. If he/she knows that I am happy in loving him, he/she will want no other reward. Is not friendship divine in this?

Wind is to fire like distance is to love, it extinguishes the small and enflames the great.
The most wonderful of all things in life, I believe, is the discovery of another human being with whom one’s relationship has a glowing depth, beauty and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvellous thing, it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of Divine accident.
