Like a piece of white paper

Even if I have to wait till eternity
Which way should I choose

It’s sad to reveal the truth
The thing I’d like to know from my forgotten youth
When sugars and honeys turn bitter
And there’s nothing to make me feel better

One Sunday morning, a man was found dead inside their house. The police asked the persons who are living in the same place. Here are their alibis:
Wife: “when i woke up, i didn’t saw him”.
Cook: “i was in the kitchen, i didn’t notice”.
Maid: “I was sending mail in the office”.
Butler: "I was on the rooftop".
Gardener: “I was in the garden watering the plants.”
