Man U won both CL and Prem with Ronaldo scoring 42 goals while Messi scored only 16 with Barca won nothing.
Anyone with half a footballing brain would know that Messi is better than C.Ronaldo and that he's the best out there.
But if Messi was given the award for his skill being better than others and not for achievements.....then Zidane would have won it every single year during his career and the same would have applied to Cruyff.
Thanks darling, i was trying to put the same opinion fwd...but ya did it for me...

Well for last season, C.Ronaldo was the best player.......I think it was down to achievements.Man U won both CL and Prem with Ronaldo scoring 42 goals while Messi scored only 16 with Barca won nothing.

How the hell did Messi get almost 200 points less than CR7 in that world player poll? What a load of utter crap mixed with more crap...

....who is the worst football player?Yesterday, 20:16
tbh, I am sure there is already a topic similar to this. However, to answer this topic, I must first ask what you mean by 'worst' player? Do u mean by an all time disaster or a player from recent 10 years or so?
I think the majority of ppl who post in here (considering the lack of knowledge of other threads) cannot comment on previous players from other generations as we are too young to analyse thier performances and we were not around, or at the time too young to understand the game as well as those particular players e.g Maradonna. Wacthing youtube crap or clip on TV is different to actualy being around at the time of a players prime...and his impact in the world of football..

So far, Arsenal haven't been given much chance by critics and this was their match to show that they are contenders. All credit to them for a good strong performance that everyone is aware they can do.
The mini "big-4" table is currently:
1-Liverpool: P2 W2 D0 L0 - 6/6 Points - 1 home win, 1 away win
2-Arsenal: P1 W1 D0 L0 - 3/3 Points - 1 home win
3-Chelsea: P2 W0 D1 L1 - 1/6 Points - 1 home draw, 1 home loss
4-Man United: P3 W0 D1 L2 - 1/9 Points - 1 away draw, 2 away losses
Barring any slack comments of luck from Man U fans over the deflected goal for Arsenal and the own-goal for Liverpool, looking at performances, Arsenal and Liverpool have performed the best with Arsenal showing that even after the Tottenham game, they still had the belief, the commitment and the support, to prevail over Arsenal.
Arsenal coped well all the way through the match, the only really negaitve point for Arsenal, was Bendtner, who looked a little like a fish out of water in front of goal.
The only thing left to say is that Arsenal win, and that is taken as the proof that they are contenders, they had to perform well for the full match and weather the storm in injury time. Man U lose, yet they are still the top contenders, despite being behind Arsenal in the table, and having just lost to Arsenal and played all the other top-4 teams. Football rarely ever makes sense

Arsenal made a strong signal of title intent with the win over Man U, Arsenal are now 6 points of the top and have a win over another top 4 team on their results list. Watching them today just brings up the question of why they haven't done the same to lower teams. So far, Arsenal haven't been given much chance by critics and this was their match to show that they are contenders. All credit to them for a good strong performance that everyone is aware they can do.

Not that anyone has said anything yet. However, I am sick and tired of Chelsea fans moaning over the offside goal yesterday, it is footy, n these things happen....if you go by unfairness...Terry was lucky to get that yellow card, and NOT a red....the game is over..you guys lost....take it! Take it just like Arsenal take it when refs make unfair decisions with us....in the league, we are the team who are mostly victims of bad decisions...and yesterday....it wen our way..so all if fair....nuff said, im out of ere..

Whoever is into football, for sure will know who Messi and Bojan are....so may I please ask, why the creator of this thread has decided to put the players' full names???
Was watching Barca yesterday..what a game!!!
anyways....I still think Bojan still needs to develop as a player...in my opinion anyway!

Firstly, although I don't really give a crap, I just wanna say that I do not think that Drogba will be leaving Chelsea...but then again, we can't say can we?
Is there someone in here who has compared Terry with Gerrard?
.......hmmmm.....I am out of here in no time mates.
anyways, see you in Sundays clash.......
