White roses are sometimes called the “flower of light”, they symbolize unity, sincerity, loyalty, purity, dignity, and a divine love stronger than death. White rose buds are an appropriate gift to a young girl from her father..
With their blazing energy, orange roses are the embodiment of desire and enthusiasm. Orange has long been a color of vibrant energy. A gift of orange roses means passion, desire or a personal fascination or longing.
The bright, sunny color of yellow roses evokes a feeling of warmth and happiness. The warm feelings associated with the yellow rose are often akin to those shared with a true friend. As such, the yellow rose is an ideal symbol for joy and friendship.
Pink roses signify elegance, gentility, and poetic romance, without the seriousness signified by red. Pink roses are more light-hearted than red and can signify mere admiration or sweetness of thought. Light pink roses can signify both sympathy and friendship, while dark pink is symbolic of appreciation and thankfulness..
Purple roses represent majestic glory and can symbolize eternal love, while lavender roses signify love at first sight or the beginning of true feelings. Purple roses are appropriate as memorial flowers for a lost spouse. Deep purple roses are also symbols of instant enchantment but also of elegance and grandeur they should be reserved for very special moments.
Peach roses express gratitude, appreciation, sincerity, admiration, sympathy or idea of 'Closing the deal'. They can also convey sociability and friendship and send the message "Let's get together". A pale peach rose symbolizes modesty.
Black roses are symbolic of death and darkness. Many people view black roses as an omen, but they can signify change or rejuvenation on the horizon, as some rose buds appear black but then bloom into crimson red. The promise that you will soon know something you didn't know before. Some see it as a bad omen. The black rose can say "farewell". The meaning of black roses may not be understood or well received as a gift, so you should avoid this color if you are at all unsure of the recipient’s beliefs.
The dead roses generally signify the end of a relationship. The unexciting and lifeless roses can also mean gloominess in ones life, which in spite of fading away can bring ever lasting feelings to every heart that receives a dead rose. Regardless of their original color, dead roses say "It's over," loud, clear, and in a tacky and less than classy way.
Wow as you know, Blue rose does not naturally occur in nature as they lack the pigment to cause the blue coloration. However they can be attained artificially using genetic engineering. Much like it's mysterious beginnigs, the blue rose signifies mystery or the possibility of attaining that which seems impossible, mostly because it's a rarity in nature. This mystery of the blue rose makes it perfect for those with a complex personality or that crush that seems just out of reach..
Well.. Everybody knows about this one. By the way a sincere advice, be careful before you give someone Red or black roses. It may be the end or the beginning of your relationship, you might not know the persons beliefs.
