On behalf of everyone here at ZAMM.com, I'd like to welcome
you and tell you a little about this new website for movie fans.

I'm Martin Grove and with over 25 years of Hollywood reporting
behind me, chances are you've run into me before -- during my
12 years as the film industry expert on CNN's ShowBiz Today or
my eight years telling Wall Street about the movie business on
CNNfn's The Biz or in my Hollywood Reporter column that's
been running since 1985.

I came up with the idea for ZAMM.com because people are
always asking me, "What's a good movie to see?" What they
really mean is, "What new movies are entertaining and worth the
cost of buying tickets?" After all, a night for two at the movies
can easily cost $100 or more when you add up the price of
tickets, gas, parking, babysitters, popcorn, soda, candy and,
perhaps, dinner afterwards.

What I've found is that many people don't know enough about
new movies to decide if they really want to pay to see them. The
syndicated TV shows about Hollywood cover celebrity gossip,
but don't tell us about movies the way they once did. And when
we surf the web we find even more news about Britney Spears,
the Olsen Twins, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan!
