LG KG800 touchpad going crazy

Hey guys! I recently got me a second hand kg800 phone. It looked good with a new battery and charger and it was really cheap. Unfortunately the next day it started going crazy. Whenever it's unlocked, the touch pad starts working on its own (moving through the menu) without me even touching anything. Does anyone have the same problem and know how to solve it? Could it be because of the scratched front where said buttons are? Or is it something more serious?
I hope someone knows what's wrong with it
