Back in the late 90's, Frank J Lopez had experimented with turntables, but it wasn't until the summer of June 2000 is when he began as both a digital & turntable DJ. From that day on he had spent every spare moment of his time; learning the art of mixing, and at the same time, he was able to learn a bit of Recording Engineering as well. He was creating below average amateur dance tracks due to the fact that he was far too inexperienced with that type of creativity. Thus, he put down his pursuit of Recording Engineering, but he continued to pursue his main goal. To hone and master his skills as a DJ! The first styles he had learned to mix were Hardstyle & Trance. He would sometimes mix a bit of UK Hardhouse & Schranz as well. In March 2002 he began not only mixing Hard Dance, & Trance, but he also House Music as well. By summer 2006 Frank had completed his twenty first mix release of the Klubtron series that started back in summer 2003. Frank also had a new main goal. To continue his pursue in Recording Engineering. As 2006 pressed onward towards fall, Frank came across a track that caught his ears. He loved it so much that he asks the artist if he could remix it. With the artists permission; Frank remixed the house track to his own unorthodox style of Hard Bass House. So far in the present; 2007 has been a great year for Frank. His funky-8-bit track “Bass Rokkin” was signed to UDTK Records in summer 2007, and has now started a new mix series labeled. “MercEighties” ~Stay Tuned~
