Error on min. 10 character description
12.09.09, 18:33

When uploading a tone completely made in my FL Studio (so they hopefully won't be taken offline again 'cause the admins think it's copyrighted material gheheh) I get an error that my file description must be at least 10 characters while I've added a text way longer than 10 characters.

Is this a true error that more people are getting?

Or is this some sort of (sneaky) blockade I might have gotten since they pulled my previously uploaded tones recently saying it was copyrighted material?

Now probably I'll be pointed to a copyright forumtopic, but admins please read:
Although you state that our answer is in there, it is not.

My little story above has actually lead me to 2 real questions:
1. Who is testing on copyrighted material and why are they not really listening to the tones to make their judgement
- since I am a producer my tones might sound pretty professional, but they are my own work or complete reworks. if it sounds too good it must be pulled by default?
- some truely copyrighted tones that others upload are not or never pulled and actually get awards?
2. If there is such a thing as a block after you have been "judged" for uploading copyrighted material (while I was not), why not say something like "you won't be able to upload for 1 week" in stead of giving people a bogus error on "minimum 10 character file descriptions".

I might be sounding a little harsh, but always being able to upload and suddenly (after being warned) not being able to might tick people off, especially since every max 29 second tone I worked on at least half an hour per tone; a waist of my time now it seems.

No hard feelings, just don't like to be wrongly accused. Might be a real error I'm getting but it would be like a very big coincidence that I never got this trouble and now suddenly I do... Excuse me if I'm wrong.

As nobody posted: The actual picture that you get after setting it as your desktop wallpaper is 240 x 268 pixels (or, when setting it while in landscape mode: 320 x 188 pixels).

So if you always make sure that the part of the pic you want to show is always within those boundaries, you won't get any important things being " cut of"

Today I'm getting that same message, but actually I've not uploaded anything today so far. Normally it would only give that message after 10 successful uploads on 1 day.

everywhere you look (also here on zedge) you see the wallpaper size for a pocket pc (windows mobile) is 240 by 320 pixels. But actually: it isn't when setting a picture as your today screen image you will always see that the top and bottom parts are "cut off" (and actually the actual resolution and quality becomes quite terrible ).

What is the effective size of the desktop itself (without the top "start" bar and the bottom bar?
And, if you actually to get precisely the right size: is the image then really copied "1 on 1" or will this image also become distorted and poorly compressed

why don't you just use the "personaliser" on the left to create them yourself by using any picture you like?
