as far as featured system i have full support for this too...something new and cool admins do what is best for the site remember that. but there should be a page for new uploads too. thats all thanks you
1st of all, i totally agree with you.Items from other sites should not be uploaded or items that isn't created by a person uploading it.Tell me this how to know that items isn't created by the zedger who has uploaded it on zedge?I mean you and i can find it very quickly but how admins can find?Going around looking in all the websites there is?And what if the user who is uploading the item on zedge is the same person uploaded them on other sites(as they can have diff user names)?How can you possibly know it if you don't know that person?So only way to do it if you know the person from other site encourage him to claim the copyright.That's is the only way i can think.
2ndly about self downloading, only way to stop such cheating is to change the download button.Changing the whole system is not going to stop it.Am i right?Or do you have a better idea?
3rdly, about the multiple profile, you can flag a person whom you suspect having multiple profile.Admins will check it up.
Lastly about the new items, there is a button called newest there you will find all the new items.

i think zedge admins should take some good action on re up loaders there are many zedgers who re upload stuff from other sites 
.....well i think zedge admins should take actions on those who self download there own stuff....they use multiple accounts to download there stuff. thanks u cheers 
Zedge does allow items from other sites.As a sg you know themes with m9,ownskin, thememaker and other logo in the screenshot.Only way to stop it the real owner claiming copyright of the item.

Every zedgers love zedge as far as i know.If weekly and other lists doesn't matter then why are they there?So they are part of the zedge too.This topic is about what do you wanna change on Zedge.So everyone who wants change on Zedge can have their say here.
Talking about cheaters zedge should do something about the re-uploaded items too.As it not allowed to re upload the same items.

That's the exact reason i don't want the new and popular list back.
If you like to stop the cheaters from cheating then you should request to change the downloading button so one person cant download his/her item more then one time.

items from 4-5 months ago you can see not from this week!

And in the most downloaded zedgers list it is more worse.People who are uploading daily are not moving but people who are not uploading at all are in the page-
