I also have a Motorola KRZR K1 with Rogers.
The secret is you have to rename mp3 file to ( eg ~AlertFile096 or ~AlertFile135 ) you need first part ~AlertFile but the number can change. The only problem is when name of your ring tone will be named what ever rogers had asign to that number.
