BIO: When the members of Empire G came together, they each had diverse experience in the musical industry, as performers, song writers and in producing. It doesn't take long to catch the mixture of urban influences that have shaped the unique sound which has become Empire G.

The debut album began as a couple of original songs burned on a CD as demo tracks. That CD was duplicated over and over as it got passed around from one person to another, and made it's way to the New York underground scene. Requests started getting back from people (known and unknown) wanting more.

Studio tracks were recorded for the debut album which generated a large amount of attention, even while in it's production stage.

Spin-shows quickly picked up on songs such as "The Sign of Leo" and it wasn't long before the band found themselves with a hit song. Other songs such as "Mary's Song" and "Gangsta" have also become fan favorites. Special thanks go out to AdPyro Free Classifieds for being our first promoter and really getting the word out there.
