Well guys, I used to have a SE T610. Installing themes onto it was easy. Now, how do I install themes into RAZR V3?

To tell you the truth the themes are pretty rubbish.... but some of the 'Skins' available are excellent.
the installation method does seem a little complicated, but done once successfully and you'll soon be addicted,
it involves the need of a cable and some p2ktool and PST (pFlex) as you'll need to ceate a folder directory for each skin entered.

Judging by your original posting date, I assume you've discovered all about loading and changing skins, etc.. by now. Posting this for others that might stop by.

Just bought Razrs for the wife and myself after having Nokia 6620's for a year. Have used the program P2k Commander to transfer skins (themes in Moto-speak) and wallpapers to the Razrs, and what a difference that made from the crappy default ones provided by Cingular (U.S.). Quick links here for the app and how to use, including a cool video tutorial. You can't go wrong with this app if you follow the tutorial exactly. Watch out for some of the other editing apps, they are not as safe and user-friendly, may be buggy, and may turn your cool Razr into a paperweight. E-mail if more help is needed on setting up or using the P2k Commander app. It may be a problem connecting from PC to phone if you don't know some of the tricks and depending on your computer and OS.

Great site for software, including P2k Commander. You have to register, quick and easy, to download and to see the full site menus. A few skins here also. In site menu, Downloads, Software, P2k Software, and download P2KCommander Version 3.2.9.

From the same site above, all about modding the Razr. I have not gotten into the heavy-duty stuff of flashing/flexing, or had the need to, so advice would be to take great care if being this adventurous. A LOT more advanced and dangerous than just loading skins and wallpaper.

The outstanding animated tutorial on using P2k Commander.

Drop me a line if connection help is needed between your PC and phone. Requirements that I know of would be a PC (obviously) running WinXP and with at least one free USB port, your cool Razr phone, a USB cable with a connector on the non-USB end that fits the port on your phone where you would also plug in the charger (my digital camera connector fit just fine), and a dash of perseverance. Enjoy!!!
