Well, personal ringtones are stored in any folder called "ringtones" on your SD card (notification ringtones are stored in any folder called "notifications"). Note that these folders may be in other folders on your SD card.

Perhaps the best solution is to connect the SD card to your PC and use the file explorer to look for these folders on the SD card!

the default folder always is 'ringtone' or 'sounds' if u downloaded through your browser it asks for destination or puts in 'download' folder if u downloaded through zedge app go to folder 'zedge' then to 'ringtone' and if other application search accordingly.
OR
the bttr way could be..
go to settingĀ»soundĀ»ringtone
see if some dialoge box appears asking for random options like
androsystem
zedge
mobile9
gosms

if the desired ringtone is in zedge option
go to sd card and expand the zedge folder..

Just make a folder named → "Ringtones" in /sdcard
and put all ur ringtones in it.

then go to Settings > Sounds > Phone ringtone

now u'll find all ur ringtones in the list.
