Notifcation volume for Galaxy Ace

Hi all, have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace, the phone is great but the volume on incoming messages is too low, is there any way to make it louder please....help.

go to setting then go to sound check the volume and increase your ringtone volume

u can increase ur volume by increasing notification tone ,.
volume also depend on ur quality of tone u r using .

i have problem about notification vibration... my setting is to virbrate always... bet phone vibrates only when receiving call. when i get message it's only sound but no vibration if it is in silent mode - sound no vibration. how to fix this ?

@fanasz - Any application that claims under the System Tools section (if present) in its Permissions "modify global system settings" or under Hardware Controls (if present) "change your audio settings"

You can check this by going to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> (Click on each application and scroll down, then Back button to get to the next).

Any applications which have the above permissions can turn off your vibrate function. Check in the settings of any application that can do it and make sure it's not deliberately turning off vibrate.


Obvious (and very patronising) questions - is Vibrate on in Messaging -> Settings -> Notifications (does it have a green tick in it?), and also Vibrate on that same screen? Also is the volume up high enough for it to vibrate (i.e. not on silent).
