Immediate help For Nokia 2690

My phone's keypad is locked with security code.yesterday a kid tried unlock it with wrong come since then i'm unable to unlock it with the code.earlier when i went to the same problem i used to switch it off For some time n THEN TRY with the same code n to My relief it worked everytime.but this time this idea is not helpful.somebody please help me.

all nokia have a default code of 12345 if that dont work try updating the software or if you can provide me ur imei number (*#06#) i can help you with a default code

however make sure its not askin for a PIN or a PUK code if it is then contact ur mobile service provider

Code to reset the Nokia 2690

1. Basic Reset or Soft Reset for nokia 2690 Mode

This option restores the .ini files from the ROM.
Does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) or applications from
a third party. Key Code *# 7780 # (click this combination of keys on the
keyboard in the mobile)

2. Total Reset or Hard Reset for nokia 2690 Mode

This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data including the memory
card. Key Code *#7370# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard
in the mobile)

@ shaheerali, Don't post misleading info. That only works on S60 phones.

Sorry to say but code error it seems.


well in that case all i can suggest is get a Software update, cuz what im giving you is the default code for your imei. but if that dont work atleast an upgrade will..

THANKS For ur kindness but how can i update My cell when its not accepting its code n i'm unable to unlock its keypad to perform any action
