I have a motorola v80 and was wondering if i can play mp3s from it. and if i can how should i get around doing this like compressing files and what not since the memory is not that big

You'll need to record your mp3 into a lower bitrate... something around 64 or 96 kbs. this will make the filesize smaller then if you have mobile phone tools load it with that.
