i have figured out how to make custom ringtones for my lg lotus elite, but i don't know how to use the new message tones that i just downloaded. i want the new tones to play when i get a text message.

i go to settings > ringers> messages

and there is no option for video files. (that's how i got the call ringtones- by saving them as 32g files that showed up as videos when i emailed them to the phone.)

the options are: downloaded ringers (only takes me to the sprint page to get me to buy their ringtones), voice memo, and other ringers (only the preset ringers)

can you help me out? i've searched all day for the answer and i can't find it.
