I downloaded the Zedge Android app to my phone (Samsung Galaxy) and then downloaded a ring tone. Then I decided to sign on to this site.

So now the ring tone I downloaded appears as a download in the actual app on my phone. Here it appears I have not done a download yet.

Is there any synch tool that will synchronize between the two or do I need to delete the ring tone and download it again so it appears here. How do most of you download ... from your computer or from your phone so that it also appears as download activity here?

I'm probably not going to be doing all that much but I would like to have my activity show up wherever it can or should.

Your inputs would be helpful.

Currently downloads in the Android App are not shown as "download activities" in your profile, but here is what you can do to synchronize your favorites between the app and your account;

In the App:
* Click the "More" button then "Log in". Enter your username and password.
* Click "Downloads" and then "Ringtones" and then add the ringtone as your favorite by clicking the heart behind the ringtone.
* Synchronize favorites by clicking the "Favorites" button.

In the website:
* View your favorites: My Account > My Favorites. http://www.zedge.net/my-account/favorites/

If you download the ringtone from "My Favorites" the ringtone will be shown in your activity stream.

Thanks for your informative reply to my post bigbluechief.
I figured out everything you mentioned right down to the last line about downloading ringtones from "My Favorites". Just not quite sure exactly about that procedure (from where and which activity stream would it show up in?).
Also, in your opinion, what is the best way to perform downloads to your phone so that the activity also shows up on your website in my profile where it should?

Sorry for misleading you in my previous post - I've checked the facts now and items are not added to your activity stream if you download a item.
Only these actions are shown in your activity stream:
* New uploads (public)
* New friendships
* Liked items (items I thumbed up)

Meaning - if you wish for an item to be visible in the activity stream for your friends you have to upload it or like it by visiting the item page and clicking the "thumb up".

But I guess we are confusing each other a bit. I really just want to know how I download a ring tone, etc to my phone so that it does appear in the Uploads section in my profile for others to see. Or am I just confused about what you consider to be Downloads or Uploads?
This is not really a big deal and as you pointed out I can have it show up as a Favorite. But if I am doing to do it then I might as well show it as a upload in my profile too.
As an aside, do most people get their ring tones, etc directly from the app on their phones or do they get them from your website?
Anyway I certainly know how to get what I want to my phone I just want to be able to share it here in the appropriate place as well.
