Dear Zedgers, we have great news. You can now create groups about your favorite topic on Zedge! Many of you already have a lot of uploads within a topic you are passionate about. Now is the time to put them all in a group and get others to join and collaborate. You can create and browse existing groups from this page: http://www.zedge.net/groups/Once you´ve created a group, you are made admin of the group. As an admin, you have total control of your group. You can accept or reject membership requests, edit the group profile, invite editors and more. Zedgers apply to join your group with one or more of their uploaded items. Items pending to join your group will queue in "Member requests" awaiting your approval. Once a Zedger has one or more of his/ her items accepted into your group, they are made a member of your group. Every Zedge group has a rank. In order to gain the best possible rank for your group, a couple of things is important: - Accept only relevant items in your group. - Accept only items with good quality in your group. - Make sure you regularly check "Member requests" to let new items into your group. - Tell people about your group to increase the view count. The top ranked groups will gain prominent positions all around Zedge. So now, what is your passion? What will you create a group about? Looking forward to see your group! Good luck :-) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Please be aware that excessive group spamming is not allowed in Zedge.Post quote: Dear Group admin, We've seen some group admins and editors that are heavily promoting their group(s) in peoples guestbooks and by PM, and many users get upset by this. There's a big difference by inviting users and spamming people. Please use common sense and avoid getting your group deleted. Yes, we will delete groups if the admins and editors don't respect the Zedge policies and the Zedge user privacy. Focus on building a good group instead and it will become popular.
