hi there guys,

i just bought a SE W705a cellphone and i'm quite happy with it. not till i found a minor problem. i dunno maybe it's just me or maybe it's the phone. my problem is, how do i put ringtones or themes in it?? i know, i'm such a noob at this. pleas help me... tnx

you attach the phone to your PC via USB cable included in the phone package. then download tones here from zedge or themes the save it to your desktop. after that copy the tone, which in mp3 format, copy it to the folder in your phone find drive G: PHONE or H: PHONE then look for the media folder then choose the ringing tones folder. that also goes for the themes (use theme folder of course)

i tried it, but it say that folder is empty. so i dunno what's the problem... maybe cuz i dun have an M2 memory card? does it have to do with where you save the file?

try looking for the phone drive itself when you dont have the memory stick then save it in your phone. the memory stick is only for additional storage.

well, i tried. but still no effect. is there a certain format for the song to be made a ringtone?

try uploading your own tone the download it after and try. well your phone supports mp3 and acc format. here is a simple guide for uploading tones http://www.zedge.net/forum/t/61288/how-to-upload-simple-guide/

I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything suggested but I'm still not able to use my ringtones as actual ringtones for my phone, it says folder is empty. I can play the tunes on my phone, but they just won't be used as ringtone...If anything one could help, it would be greatly appreciated...and thanks sparkle for your input!

All i can say is take it to the service center and tell them that you are not able to upload songs
