Its a section For solving problems in XP.....

How to Remove Virus From Pen Drives,Externals,HDD...

1. Click on the Start > Run
2. Type ?cmd? on the field and click on OK.
3. Type Drive Letter(Eg. for e drive E.
4. Type dir /ah.(shos all hidden files)
5. Type attrib -r -s -h File name(unwanted file such as Wscript.vbe,autorun.inf,much more)
6. Scan with Anti Virus.
7. Remove externals,Pen Drive.
8. Repeat step from 1 to 4 (check wether files exist or not).

If not Virus is removed....

How to enable registry...

Go to Start menu >> Run >> enter ?gpedit.msc? and Ok.

Then go to user Configuration>>Administrative Templates>>System.

When you click on ?System? on the right you?ll see ?Prevent access to registry editing tools?. Double click on it and on the properties pop-up screen select ?enable? option, then click ?apply? (do not click ok). Then click ?disable? option and apply, then okay.

How to show hidden Files......

1. Click on the Start > Run
2. Type ?regedit? on the field and click on OK.
3. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
4. In the right pane, delete the entry ?NoFolderOption?........

If you people are having problems with viruses from flash drives, simply disable the autorun features....Most viruses can be controlled by disabling this feature...
