Hi everyone,

I got a new Nokia 6700 classic a couple of weeks before and I notice that even though I changed the settings to include a screensaver, the screen goes completely blank after a couple of seconds of no contact with no screensaver. Occasionally, the screensaver pops up to last all of five seconds before the screen offs again. I've tried contacting the Nokia support staff and have gone to my local phone retailer only for them to tell me this is normal ie. an energy saving format.

I just want to confirm this if anyone has any idea. It seems pretty redundant for Nokia to provide a screensaver service if they aren't going to follow through.

Any Nokia-ites have any idea what's going on, or do any of you have this problem too?

i have the same problem.

I have a Nokia 6700 classic and my screensavers work perfect also they work perfect for wallpapers too.. i do not understand what your problem is.. Go in all your settings and play around with it I did.. I love it best phone I ever bought... Wish I could help you.. Mel
