We know some of you are curious to know how we are planning to improve Zedge in the future. Here is a brief summary of some major improvements we're about to make: Friend activities summaryA week ago we introduced "Activity streams" on Zedge. Every Zedger got their own activity stream that displays their recent activity on Zedge. Although this is a nice feature, we want to improve it so you can follow your friends the way you wanted. So now, to make it easy for you to follow your friends latest activities, we're adding "Friend activities summary". Friend Activities Summary (FAS) will be a one-stop page in your "My Account" where you can check the latest activities from your friends. Friend activities summary will be available sometime this summer! New Profile DesignProfiles on Zedge are currently getting an overhaul. The new profile will be improved with a cleaner design which will make it easier to scan through profiles and get to the stuff you want, faster. Here's a list of profile improvements: - Cleaner design - Tabbed profile navigation - Larger avatars - "My phone" box (a box with information about your phone) - "Badges & awards" box (displays the badges and awards earned as a Zedger)  Zedge Groups (beta)Another project we're working on is "Zedge groups". It will let you work & collaborate with other Zedgers to form groups on a shared topic. Although similar, it won't be quite be the same as groups on Facebook or most other social networks. You will have to earn the right to be a member of a group on Zedge, by uploading content that fits with that group's topic. Your status in the group will increase as you keep adding relevant uploads to the group. To begin with only "Zedgeheads" and "Hardcore Zedgers" can create groups, however, anyone can join groups they create. The person who creates the group will be the Admin of the group and will decide what content will be accepted into the group. The Admin will also be able to invite other Zedgers to help manage the group. We think Zedge Groups will be lots of fun for everyone on Zedge. Expect a beta to be released sometime this autumn! Android applicationFor all of you that own, or are planning to own a phone which uses Google's Android OS, we're happy to announce that we are working on a Zedge application for Android. We think it is about time Zedge is more integrated onto your phone, and with Android we can do all the things we ever wanted for a Zedge mobile app. The first Zedge Android app will launch as a beta and will allow you to browse and search for content easily. In addition to search and browse, you'll be able to log-in and connect to your Zedge account. Buy a phone running Android and prepare for the Zedge app to be available on Android market this autumn. Zedge teamsFor those of you that are SiteGuards or Forum Moderators, you know how fun it can be to participate on a deeper level in the Zedge community. We've seen that the there's a lot of Zedgers that want to participate and do more in the community. So in order to allow more Zedgers to contribute to the Zedge community, we would like to create additional teams similar to "SiteGuards" and "Forum moderators". Perhaps a "Creative" team so creative Zedgers can create custom wallpapers & themes by request from other Zedgers. We see lots of requests for custom artwork appear everywhere, and there's lots of Zedgers eager to do this. A "Creative" team is just one example. There are several other teams in the making that could contribute strongly on specific tasks on Zedge, and make Zedge a cooler place to be.
