hey whats up dude? i've had the same problem but finally i managed to get the themes working (well kind of because i downloaded themes that didnt macth the w580 resolution (240*320) lol). U need the XS++ and the usb flash driver for your phone.
so here we go.

1 open the sx++ and click on the connect button. u will have 30 secs to connect your phone while u press and hold the C button.

2 once your phone info is uploaded you can click on the fsx option (down on the xs screen) then click on the start fsx button. xs++ will read some info on your phone and finally show a directory tree on the right side of the screen.

3 in that dir tree choose TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/DESKTOP/FLASH.

4 ok now you need to upload the sfw files of your themes one by one. to do that click on the upload button browse until you find your sfw file and click on the ok button.

5 When you've finished loading all of your sfw files go to TPA/USER/THEME and upload all of the thm files.
so you need to put, for example the cat.sfw file and the cat.thm in their right places or the theme wont work.

6 once you've done all of that PRESS THE SHUTDOWN BUTTON or your phone its going to die. Enjoy your themes.

ps. if you need the usb flash driver you can go to this webpage www.mediafire.com/?lejh70mykwb. im not responsible for any damage to your phone do this under your own risk. (i hope my english its clear enough)
well see ya.
