i finally got my pre paid phone a razr v3m.

my problem is this. i specifically got this phone because it was the cheapest with removable memory.
i wanted that so i can down load what i have on my computer to the 1 gb card that i was told was the only size the phone would fit. ( do you know how hard 1gb micro sd cards are to find?)
well in order to do that i got a reader writer. which works fine with a 4 gb card that i had used with my digital camera i could copy files from my documents to it and vice versa.

But when i put the 1gb micro sd card in the adapter in the reader. my computer said that the card needed to be formatted. i had already did so with the phone but i clicked ok and a bit later i get the prompt telling me that windows couldn't format the card. thus i couldn't move or copy anything from my documents on my pc to the card. what is wrong ? is it a bad card? if i get a new card and get the same thing how do i fix this. if theres software that i need to down load , what url? help!
