(edit): but if u convert to 16k from the 8k file, the quality wont change (since its allready "cut off" at 8khz)

u thik that if i record them in a good quality, and then convert them to 16k, itīll work?

If u have wavs that are allready on 8khz, theres nothing u can do....

if u made those wavs from a higher quality source, then make 16khz wavs directly from source

Hello guys,

I downloaded sox software but I am still facing pb to convert my wav files...
Dos is saying that it can not find infile.wav file despite it is in the same directory as Sox program...
Any clue??

audacity does all these things that have been mentioned. it's free.
