I've searched tons of forums about this and I can't find anything. Verizon disables the browser on the Nokia 6015i for some reason. Is there a code or file that can get the browser working again for me? Thank you.

Nokia 6015i
Operating Bands CDMA 800/1900, AMPS 800
Wireless Internet (WAP) Browser Software: Openwave 4.1 (Sprint version does not have a WAP browser)

Mate, this Nokia 6015i really new to me! Since we are from different countries, my country can't use CDMA phones . Verizon is your tel-co mate registered right? Hence, what can I think of is that, try to make phone call to Verizon to seek for advices may be the best idea!

Alternatively, you can try to search for Java browser application for your N6015i. Not sure if you can do any installation of that. You may need to use computer to download then transfer over to your phone. The java browser is Opera Mini. And its web site is http://www.opera.com/products/...bile/operamini/ if not mistaken.

PS: not sure can help though.

cheers.

Thank you for replying. Opera mini is only available to people in Norway through a subscription, and Opera mobile is only for series 60 phones with Symbian in them. There really isn't any information anywhere for the Nokia 6015i, I'm just hoping someone will see this post and reply, even if it's by next year it's better than nothing

Opera Mini is available in Norway through TV2, and may be downloaded for free by sending an SMS with "Opera" to 1984. This will only work in Norway.

Yes, Opera Mini is something only for Norway as far as I've heard, and the Mobile version of Opera could probably be a .sis file but it's only for series 60 Nokia phones with Symbian. If anyone else knows otherwise please let me know
