I think you should get if if you know how to use it.

I have been a strong Nokia/Motorola user for some time (Nokia N95 8GB as of recent) and I wanted to get the iPhone or iPod touch just for the sake of screwing around with the device. After rounding up a few buck I headed in and picked up the iPhone 3G 16GB and I am pretty impressed with the graphical interfaces and the third party apps with the jailbreak. Works just dandy as a music player and the text messaging is damn stunning. I don't think anything has impressed me as much as the texting and how smart it is. You can type like a lunatic and 9 out of 10 times it will auto correct the words you just blazed through. There were set backs, the crappy camera, no card slot, bluetooth is limited, can't use it like a modem for the laptop. There are apps that are working on the modem part but whatever. All and all I give it a 8/10.

It's one of the most interesting and brilliant things a creative mind could have ever come up with. And no I don't normally talk like that. I just felt it was appropriate to say it. I'm enjoying mine so much.
