Am new here so hi everyone

I just got a T-mobile MDA IV which is t-mobiles version of the HTC Touch Diamond - Any ideas how i get rid of the horrible pink backround on the home screen?
If you change the theme it stays there and it doesn't seem to let you change the back round picture either.....
