sgh a747 ringtone file to large

i have tried d/l a few ringtones here. only to find out that the mobile phone can not use them as a ringtone because the file is to large. can anybody help?

I have a Samsung Sync on ATT and they limit it to 300kb. I don't know if it applies to your phone but I just cut mine down to 300kb and they work just fine. Hope this helps you out...
