Help.

I'm new on this site and have uploaded my song. Now all I see is "download to pc". Ok, so I saved that 29 second clip somewhere in my Window Media Player playlists and on my desktop just to be sure.

Now where do I go from here?

i have a Motorola Razr V3 and not sure which of the folders to put this in, audio, music, ringtone? It doesn't really work - it just brings up the window (after I chose say, ringtone for instance,) and then it's blank. It just says "Application" in the type area.

Please explain with step-by-step instructions like you'd explain to a 3 year old little neice. ;) Thanks, lol!!

Moved from Help & Support

Please note, Help & Support is for Help & Support with using Zedge, not your phone.

Rokstarr, you cannot use Media Player to upload songs to Motorola V3. Because windows media player does not recognise it as a memory card storage device. As V3 does not have memory card it has built in memory.

If your mobile came with Motorola Phone tools software use that to upload ringtones, wallpapers etc.

But if it did not come with it you will need to use a program such as P2K tools software. I will say this BE VERY VERY CAREFUL about what you do in that program. It opens your whole mobile structure and how it works. Deleting a file your shouldnt will cause problems. If you want to use P2k tools you will need to register at MotoDev to download the USB Hanset Drivers.

You will not find MPT there. Its by Motorola and you need to pay for it, If you didnt get it with your phone already.

1) Download P2K tools from here http://rapidshare.com/files/137178014/P2KTools_v0.8.6.zip.html
2) Make sure you have installed the USB handset drivers from MotoDev
3) Unzip P2k tools folder.
4) Connect mobile to PC usb cable.
5) Click on newp2k folder > and then click on the little gear picture.
6) Down the buttom it should say Status connected, If so. Click the refresh button
7) The mobile phone file structure will display.
8) From the folder drop down menu click on audio folder. Click the upload tab > find ringtone on PC and upload it. When thats done click the restart button at the top of the program and close the program.
