1st time I experienced such attitude from some members.

What a waste of time ey? Ohh well,

Get a Alien Ware PC, then you got all the hard drive in the world to play, buy, save games onto.

 We don't have time to throw hussies at each other, life's too d****d short.

So how many games can you actually have on this hard drive then.
Can you delete the games ?? 8)
What memory does it have...20GB, 40GB, 100GB....

how many games depends on the size of your hard disk
of course u can delete games, and the hard disk size? any hard disk that'll work can be used...so as large as you can find really...

Lowest is 40GB standard PC HD (preferably Maxtor make).
Highest is 200GB standard PC HD (again preferable Maxtor make).

For this kit you will need the HD, Network Adapter AND a special DVD disk which allows the PS2 to read from the HD.

A new version is being developed enabling you to use an external HD but the problem with this is that it will be connected via USB and i think all PS2's have a 1.1 USB connection (correct me if im wrong!!) and so the load speeds etc would be very slow.

according to what i know its USB1.1
correct me if i'm wrong but USB2.0 wasnt a hit or even out when PS2 was first released...so i doubt they bothered to incorporate it in the later models, including the new slimline PS2
USB1.1 doesnt provide enough power or speed to operate HDDs properly, so i wouldnt recommend it. if you're gonna install the HDD kit buy the bulky big PS2, and forget the slimline

(however i'm thinking of a slimline for my car, its nice and thin and'll go in nicely )
