I have tried multiple times to upload a ringtone, download a ringtone, and send a rington to my phone. I have tried it here on this site, I also saved it to my favorites and tried from my phone. It just plays the ringtone it never downloads it to my phone.

Am I missing a step or something?

Try to download on your PC first then transfer it to phone with the help of data cable

thats true,visit samsung phone official site and download the pc suite driever(but usually the driver is given with the data cable)

I have the same problem with the Instinct. I tried tranfering with a data cable, and it easily let me load it on to the phone but it does not recognize it anywhere in the phone? What else shoudl I try?

Just upload your ring tone or wall paper ( notice themes will not work, neither will games, you have to buy games and they have not updtated the instinct to having its own user made themes).
Anything else you need just ask
