hope this is the right place to post. what i'd like to know is will the new iPhone 3G work in the UK on Vodafone once it's been unlocked and does anyone know if "MobileMe" would work on vodafone as this is effectively a .Mac account

we dont know yet if the 2.0 firware will be unlocable and the 3G hardware makes it harder to unlock
once there is a hack unlock available it will work with any carrier but if u unlock it with vodafone and try using a different sim then it will not work

bout mobile me. mobile me is .mac replaced
it will work n any carrier coz it not anything to do with the carrier but works of 3g edge gprs or wifi in other words it works of the internet and not the carrier

I was with Vodafone and was wondering the same thing, I would rather stay with vodafone than go to o2 but i was told if i got my iphone (which i still havent got delivered yet) unlocked to Vodafone i would lose alot of the functions the iphone offers... I hope this helps answer your question...
