I have a W300i and I noticed that when I inserted the battery back and turn on the phone, all the settings go back to default, it doesn't keep my current setting, even when my current setting are shown in the phone. For example, I have different ringtones for different contacts, but if for any reason I take the battery out and back again, the ringtones change to the Sony Ericsson ringtone. I mean, I can live with it, but I sure would like to keep my settings. I have another Ericsson and it works fine, (Z550a). Any comments or help would really be appreciated.

its not normal as per sony ericsson phones concerned,
its an issue realted to firmware
try updating it
www.sonyericsson.com
select ur phone & country then look for Update service

Well, I tried it already, I have an updating software which I downloaded from Ericsson web site, and it happen that I have the latest software. Thanks for the reply, since now I have no doubt. All I have to do now is never to turn off the phone. Take care.

Yup this problem is common
with all the SE phones , but i guess
there has not been any solution to this problem .
