I'm using Nokia N70..my problem is i set the numbers in the phone book (ex:John:xxxxx)..so when John sent me a message, the message should show his name which indicates that it's sent by him..but instead of showing his name,my phone showed me his number...><

Do you insert the code number of the country as well, before the cell-phone number?

If it does not work typing +60,....then try typing 0060.
It might work!

I hope that helps...!

Could it be, the caller or text sender change a new mobile number? Or you might have saved a wrong number?

I raised this because it happened to me. I thought I have the person's contact, and hey, this is a different number again? What's wrong? After some checks.. oops.. wrong saving.. ....................

If you're sure that it's not human faults, maybe you should consider approaching a phone dealer or contact Nokia manufacturer. Most possibly, software problem or your phone needs re-format then..

Good luck yo.. ...................

Software updated??

umm.. maybe some sort of incompatible practices took place and you need to do some adjustment or what?? Not sure yo.. not dealing with phone accessories or software. Just personal view, hee..

What I'd suggest is, you have to go back to the dealer and find out what defects are and "cure" them.. And, that'll cost some RM.. ..................
