You're most welcome..

But I wanna share something here.
Guess it's a taboo to laud a service.
The other day I said DiGi was quite okie here, didn't I??

Tell you what.
When a friend got me on the phone yesterday..
We had "great time" over such conversation like..
"Hello.. are you still there??"
"Hey.. can you hear me??"
"Hullo.. Ello.. Hi.. get what I'm saying..??"
"I'm sorry I can't hear you.."
"Anything wrong with your reception there..??"
.................................

OMG!! I should not say something good about DiGi.
Taboo yo taboo..

Well.. the above incident rarely happens to me..
But it did, yesterday, not my day, I bet..
That's why I always prefer texting to calling, but sometimes urgent case, no choice.

Since DiGi users are encountering such poor reception or signal,
I guess it's high time for the TelCo to look into the needs of enhancing the network,
lest its customers will anytime switch to other operators..

DiGi, do something!!

Since i am using Digi...they always said that they want to upgrade their signals....but however all of it seems to be empty promises because the signal don't seem to have improve even in KL......i guess they only good at marketing where it is a success because it had attracted numbers of new user

Oh well.. Many organisations are pretty good at making empty promises..

Okie.. I've been a DiGi user since April 01..
To be fair.. This Telco has indeed enhanced some of its services..
Examples??
Like FnF.. From 7 sen per SMS to 1 sen each.
And now.. I'm looking forward to DiGi offering free SMS among FnF registers. ......................

Talking about luring more customers..
Oh hell.. there are a lot of tactics they can come up and go about..
Citing DiGi as an example, it's typical ads slogan is "Low Flat Rate", right??
(ganasai la!!)
The so-called "Low Flat Rate" works, only with terms and conditions applied..

A lot of "good" services are on, but beware.. always look out for these characters T&C applied..
Unscrupulous traders are everywhere yo..

DiGi signal can be real poor in KL.. ...................
Was few days in the capital city last week, and true enough like what omniknight86 said, the signal is unstable!!

A bit off topic here..
Do you guys (Malaysians) notice the DiGi (one of the sponsors for TV updates) TV advertisements on the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games??

There are various versions and I'd say all of them are creative and entertaining..

I'm a Maxis and Digi user. I get better reception with DiGi at home. However, Maxis coverage is not so bad either. Actually, the types of phone you are using does matter on phone calls in poor service coverage. The reception quality during calls are affected, but I haven't experience the call get cut off so far.

I found that Maxis has better coverage in most places. So, I prefer using Maxis because I make phone calls at outside more often and hey, Maxis 3G speed up my phone's data transfer while surfing the web! DiGi did very well to offer some interesting features/promotions to attract people's attentions. But still a long way for them to improve their coverage.

LOL! Yes, their TV commercials are creative and entertaining! The DiGi Olympic Gymnastics and Weight Lifting are funny. The one in 2007 Chinese New Year "Feng Shui Master" was a success.

Heh??
Phone models matter when it comes to reception??
I don't think Nokia is that bad..
I'm aware that Siemens can be crappy , but NOT Nokia yo..

Oh yeah.. Finally someone responded to the DiGi TV ads..
2007 CNY "Feng-shui Master"?? Last year.. OMG!! I can't recall..

Back to the 2008 Beijing Olympics - DiGi TV ads..
Even my 5-year-old niece laughed, "The yellow-man is stoopid.."

Not only mobile phone manufacturer. Phone model need to be taken into consideration as well. I have Nokia 1600 and Nokia 6280(I always echange DiGi and Maxis SIM cards in both phones ). Usually get interruption on phone call in poor service coverage area when using Nokia 1600.

Dump your Nokia 1600 then.. ....................
Kidding yo..

Well.. I ever tried Maxis before, the reception here is kinda up to standard..
However, I scrapped the Maxis SIM card long time ago..

Coverage wise, Maxis has done far better than DiGi, I believe..
Yet, on features and additional services, I guess DiGi has more to offer..

For instance, DiGi FnF (Friends and Family) offered only 6 numbers of same operator but now, it's been upgraded to allow 11 yo..

Now it rains everyday and cloudy here. I'm having difficulty using DiGi to send SMS for these few days. Now where's yellow-man?

Oh come on.. Yellow-man (or men) needs (or need) rest too..

Well.. even if it rains here, the reception isn't that poor.. Guess West Malaysian users are facing more problems than their counterparts from the East..

Is this thread allowed to discuss all about DiGi?? Here I go..

I wonder if any DiGi users are regular visitors of the telco's official website. How do you find the site??
'User-unfriendly' is my word for its website.. ....................
